Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!!
Bloody Blogger has changed the the date and time of the outage:
“Blogger will be down on April 19 2006 from 4 pm PST to 4:45 pm PST due to planned maintenance. We regret any inconvenience caused to our users. You will still be able to view your blogs.”
Since they are labeling the time PST, let’s just say sometime tomorrow afternoon/evening.

This is an outage! I mean, an outrage! Whatever…
Did you notice that hosted WordPress had a brief outage a couple of days ago? Nobody’s perfect.
Last night everything was dragging, but BlogSpot is the most noticeable when it goes out.
My webhosting cost me almost a 60¢ last month.
Well, alright for the notice. Thank you. I hadn’t paid attention, but now I know not to try to update my blog tomorrow afternoon, sometime.
There should be a little warning pop-up when you go to the dashboard, but I never saw it.
You’ve had a lot of nice pictures lately, OWL. The profile of Lady Fortuna was really good.
Weird… I could *swear* I posted a comment here…but tis *gone*…oh well I survived another Blogger Moment in Time.
😀
Karen, you posted below when it was scheduled of yesterday, but they changed the outage to today and I put up a new post rather than updating the original.

If NearlyFreeSpeech wanted a testimonial, I’d be happy to do one for them. One cautionary note to other prospective customers: you have to be at least somewhat technically skilled to host your site there. But you can’t beat the price. It’s one of the few genuinely good deals left in the world. I’m still seriously considering moving the YDD and/or its parent site there, if I can deal with the mail forwarding issue.
I have the permanent dumka dot com thanks to my older brother, so I didn’t bother with a dumka dot us e-mail address.
It certainly beats having move everything when ISPs decide to make changes. I was storing pictures on my ISP space and now I have everything in one place, my web site and the blog.
Thank you, Bryan. She was sitting at just the right angle when I zoomed in on her.
