The Tornadoes

If you have an interest in the weather, Dr. Jeff Masters has a good post on the Super Tuesday Outbreak which had at least four EF-4 [166-200 mph] tornadoes and the possibility that one of the nine EF-3 tornadoes may have scoured a 120-mile track across Tennessee.

There are also links to sites with even more information, but according to Tom DeLay we don’t know if there is global climate change.

It’s amazing and tragic. I read about this at C&L a few days or so ago, and of course Bushmoron is as useless as ever.

President Bush to Tornado Victims: “Life is Unfair”

Yeah. That of course only applies to everyone else. If you are a Bush or a loyal friend of the moron, life is very *fair*.

The forecasters predicted violent weather 6 days before it hit as they condition were “perfect” for this – a cold front dropping down from the Arctic and a warm front raising from the Gulf meeting half way with a 70 to 80 degree temperature differential.

The cold dry high spinning clockwise meets the warm moist low spinning counter-clockwise and they spin off the tornadoes where they meet.

The seasonal jet stream is much further South than normal which is pulling the super cold air lower. We have been having a much cooler and wetter winter than normal.
