"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

Posted this one too. Love the Fibonacci-like curl of the bodies and the tail.
Best wishes of the day to your mom, Bryan!
ellroon´s last blog post..Love you, Mom.
I’ve been out transplanting flowers for her, despite the fact they won’t last because of all the shade around her house, but she wanted it done.
I put off the inside flowers until later to give my brothers something to buy for today.
Awwwwww… My mom would have liked that!
Believe it or not, I went to a cat show on mothers day (yesterday for me) in memory of my Mother. She loved cat’s and always had 1 or 2. She used to like cat shows. 🙂 There were a lot of cats, ranging from happy/friendly to ‘stick your hand in here and I’ll rip it off!’ LOL
Happy day to Mom’s everywhere! (PS. I think most Mom’s deserve a week off, at least). 😉
We all do things for no other reason that it would make our mothers happy, even though we don’t particularly like them, but I agree, a week’s vacation is not a lot to ask for any job.
