"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

Actually she has lemon yellow eyes that are quite “fetching” when you can see them.
She’s really become a sweetheart, Jams, although she was very reserved, for a very long time.
LK, she volunteered initially, and patiently sat there for a half dozen shots. I certainly don’t expect any posing, but she came very close to doing that.
She is strictly scratches and swipes, no patting, Ellroon, but you have to wait for her to decide she wants it. She is nearly mute, and you have to be looking at her to see she is meowing, because, unlike her brothers, she produces almost no sound. Her Mom, like most Korats, doesn’t actually meow, her sounds are more chirps, but much louder that Property.
“She is nearly mute…”
Samantha is like that. If she recognizes you, she speaks exactly one tiny sound in greeting, a sort of squeak that appears to come from her throat. She’s not mute… if you ever encounter her facing down one of the neighborhood cats through a closed window, you’ll be disabused of the notion that she can’t speak… but she almost never chooses to make a sound. Tabitha is another story; she frequently yowls at the top of her range.
Great pic of Property, BTW, even if she has eyelids faster than your camera…

Pretty girl.
Property’s purr is much louder the than her meow, even when she’s complaining about being ill-used by her brothers. Each is an individual.
Well, she certainly thinks so, SSG.
