They’re Baaaack!

When I saw the BBC headline, Sears Tower ‘plot’ trial begins, I wondered what plot they were talking about. I didn’t remember anything about an attack on the Sears Tower. Then the story said the trial was in Miami and it hit me – it’s the Miami Haitian Ninja Terrorists!

We are really going to spend tax dollars on a criminal trial of a half dozen whacked out homeless Haitians from Liberty City who were looking for someone to buy them boots. When you can’t figure out how to buy guns and explosives in Miami, you are a danger only to yourself.

I wonder if the federal government actually shut down several years ago, and all we have is this sort of puppet show now.

I for one I’m glad that the government has finally realized the huge terrorist problem homeles people pose to the country, the world, and perhaps event he entire solar system (with the exception of Pluto, about which nobody cares anymore…. sadly). Anyway, homeless people, if you think about it, carry on complex intelligence gathering missions everyday. They scout places, whether crowded or not, completely ignored and overlooked. I wrestled one to the ground the other day, as I usually do, and discovered that, underneath the raggedy coat, he was carrying state of othe art surveillance equipment, a few cigarettes, a bottle of Irish Rose Wine ($3 per bottle in the Northeast), a pottery barn catalog, a picture of Osama with a drawing of the Virgin Mary at the left of Osama’s head (which really confused me) and the architectural plans of some building I didn’t recognized. Once I had him on the floor, he utilized complex moves incorporating at least three types of martial arts, subdued me, and left me semi-conscious…. I tell you, the actual threat has been discovered.

I don’t know, Whig, most puppet shows have a better plot.

You know, CD, we are the ones being called “tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist.” [$3 for a bottle of Irish Rose!? Man, that inflation is a killer.]

Yeah, the homeless are driving up the price due to demand. It’s all part of the plan

Some of the funniest times I had in a patrol car were taking “street people” to the hospital for the “spa treatment” [a mental health arrest to get them off the street when it got really cold, and they were too spaced to find a place to sleep]. Most of them weren’t drunks, but mental health patients who had been turned out onto the streets and couldn’t keep their meds straight.

There were supposed to be community-based treatment centers and group homes, but those never seemed to get built.

There were a couple that we told we were taking them to an important conference to discuss their ideas with high government officials who were pretending to be doctors so no one would learn about the conference.

The conversation in the backseat was worth the price of admission.
