How Bad Is The Harris Campaign?
After consideration, I think I’ll give her name to a prayer circle. She really needs help, and that is a human reaction, not a political swipe. Something is wrong and it needs to be attended to by people who care about her. She is not the person she was. At this point, she is only a threat to herself.

Sorry…after her Partisan Performance in 2000…the only *prayer* I’d send to her is to Get a long, slow painful exit from the Political Map! Blech!
Oh, I don’t think much of her as a human being, especially since I received some of her campaign literature, but she is in melt down. She may be affected more than she thought about her father’s death, but she is coming unglued.
I do the same for any type of “roadkill”.
Sending someone’s name to a prayer circle is not always an act of kindness in the evangelical community which often attends more to gossip than the Gospels.
Having had a number of experiences in my life with it, I firmly believe in karma (a version of it anyway). If you do something bad onto others, it’ll come back. If you do something good for others, it comes back as well…
The problem is that if you aren’t true to people, you can’t expect them to be true to you. She has messed over too many people in her life to have anyone left she can trust to tell her the truth.
She is in trouble, and there is apparently no one she can turn to. She did a job for the Bush family and found out that loyalty is a one-way street as far that family is concerned.
Katherine Harris is responsible for the nullification of the votes of every single person who voted for Al Gore in 2000. Prayer circle? forget it… how do I perform a curse, perhaps one that will shrink her boobs to the size of her conscience? Hmm… nothing about that in any of the Harry Potter books…
In the evangelical community being referred to a prayer circle is often the same as a curse. Bill Clinton’s name was sent to a lot of prayer circles.
Oh god, Steve, that’s the funniest thing I’ve read all day and today is amazingly unfunny as days go.
I think Bryan has a point; she’s probably not done any grieving for her father and that sort of thing can really, really mess with your head.
She wasn’t all that tightly wrapped to begin with and didn’t have what could be called friends, only acquaintances. She’s really collapsing in front of the world.
