"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. That’s a great plate. My only concern is the bottom banner is often hidden by a plate frame and the bolt holes cut into the message.
It benefits the state Department of Veterans Affairs and whoever designed it didn’t think things through.
I don’t know…holes in the plate can represent how the message and the money fall through the cracks and leave the vets high and dry. Or maybe how some of the soldiers are held together by bolts….
Does any money from this plate design actually help the veterans? That would be at least better than those damned yellow ribbon magnets…
Would have been better if I had read your response, Bryan, before blathering..
Ellroon, consider that this is like the state holding a bake sale to support its office of veterans affairs, and veterans are the ones who buy this plate and the others in the series.
If they didn’t do this the people who rent “skyboxes” at the sports stadiums might have to pay sales tax like the peons in the cheap seats.
