The maintenance actually went according to their plan, which had a three hour estimate. They doubled the time based on experience, which was that something was bound to go wrong.
my swag formula has always been double the time [or cost] you think it will be and then add 10%. i should have remembered this one before adopting momcat.

Yep, there’s only about a 4 to 6 week window before they go back into heat.
My crew doubled because of one night out.

Contact to other cats causes a problem with my indoor cats, but if he gets friendly, he is on the way to the vet for “the operation”, as well as all the shots.
It looks to me from that photo that he’s decided that you are to be tolerated. 😀 That’s pretty good for a feral to feel that way to a human. Well done! 😀
I’d wait a bit on the Vet trip. If he does decide to befriend you, he may well fell betrayed if you do that too soon and make you pay for a long time. Cat’s have very long memories and rarely forgive! 🙂
