"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

Maybe she “vants to be left alone!”
And her name is really Marlene.
Thanks for your valiant blog.

Watch out she doesn’t poison your coffee!
Well, she has been having ‘her time’ lately, so she probably does want to be alone, Suzan, but she was an evil kitten, and is still evil.
I know better than to turn my back on Lucrezia, Jams.
Awww, Lucrezia – she’s a pretty girl… and so misunderstood. She’s not truly evil, she’s just has more of the “dark side of cats” in her makeup. Bryan, with all the dealings with cats you do, does it seem like they plot what they’re going to do, sometimes?
Cats mainly think about eating and sleeping, except when sex intrudes. Other than that, the status order within the family is the only concern, and based on actions at the food bowl, it looks like Lucrezia has lost out to Froggie on the alpha spot, so Lu is probably a bit annoyed at the moment.
