"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

the extra hour of sleep was nice, but i hate getting the dark in the middle of the afternoon part.
also i hate when cats help with the tyeping.
Well, since I eat at 6pm, I hate the part about having to feed cats at 5 and then eat at 6, rather than feeding them as I go to dinner. They don’t have watches, but they know when dinner occurs. If I waited until 6 it would be a pain finding the food dishes outside.
They don’t have watches, but they know when dinner occurs.
isn’t that the truth.
the dog has always been a good backup alarm clock in the morning, but every time we switch one way or the other, he gets confused for a week or two.
This crowd ignores the changes totally. You do things on their time or you face the consequences.
One of the nice things about dogs is that they are willing to compromise, but cats – not a chance.
I hope I’ll be able to get up earlier, now. I’ve noticed a trend, recently, of not wanting to get up when the alarm goes off, and not when the snooze goes off.
