Oh, yeah, former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman, the reason the Democratic Party in Alabama is almost as corrupt on the Boy Scouts [yes, Virginia, in Alabama even the Boy Scouts “cook their books”] was convicted as the other half of this pay for play scheme.
Scrushy had escaped in an earlier trial. He “Enron”-ed Health South.

Enjoy your earned time behind bars with the photo of your yacht constructed from money squandered from Medicare and the life work of elderly and sick people whom you parasitised, Scrushy, you callous sociopath bastard.
He is scum, stealing from those least able to afford it by taking from the program that is designed to help them stay alive. He also stole from his employees and perverted something that should have been helping people, into something that hurt them while he prospered.
