How about a closer look under the reflector?
Nice weather for a turtle – to eat the cat food.

"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. The other, of course, involves orcs."

Hmm…Kitties under car. Ya has to watch out for that…so you don’t run ’em over on your way out for that small errand. (*Squish*… and thus are “sail-animals” created.)
Must be the heat of the engine and the nice, tight, hiding places under cars that they fancy.
;-D
You have to open the hood and use a hose to get them out.
My eyes can’t quite grasp the geometry. Presuming it’s a reflection, where is the actual cat? I put the photo in an editor and zoomed it, and I still can’t figure it out. Help the clueless, please.
All you can see is the tail of a gray kitten who is sitting inside the fender well, Steve. The base of the tail is in the center of the enlargement and it hangs straight down.
Watch out that that turtle doesn’t start clawing everything, and saying meow. I really couldn’t see the kitten. I think the second photo shows a tail?
That’s the kitten, sitting on the inside of the fender with just it’s tail hanging down. You have to open the hood and hose down the engine compartment to get them out of the car.
Oh, as it is a Gulf Coast Box Turtle, and a protected species, s/he can do whatever s/he wants, especially since it protects the property from any eminent domain hassles.
