"It's better to be six feet apart right now than six feet under."
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer
"Blognito ergo sum!"
"Caedite eos! Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius."
"Das war ein Vorspiel nur, dort wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man auch am Ende Menschen."
"Все счастливые семьи похожи друг на друга, каждая несчастливая семья несчастлива по-своему."
"Кто что ни говори, а подобные происшествия бывают на свете, - редко, но бывают."
"A person who has a cat by the tail knows a whole lot more about cats than someone who has just read about them."
Mark Twain
"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."
"The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it."

Oh Boy,
I fell so bad about this. I’m Mexican and I totally forgot all about it. Thanks for the reminder… You’re a better Mexican than I am…
Good info at both links; thanks, Bryan.
We’d better say a prayer for the people of that free and independent nation; Hurricane Lane is starting to look like a bad one.
CD, with the crew in charge of this country, I’m keeping my options open to go North or South.
Yeah, Steve, they have had a lot of activity down on the Pacific coast this year. At least it looks like Baja Sur is getting a pass this time.
Is this a margarita occasion? If so, please have one on me Cat Daddy & Mr. Squeeky. And I don’t mind if I join you.
It’s a bit odd that people in the US celebrate Cinco de Mayo, unaware that it isn’t Independence Day, but you can’t go wrong with a margarita if the weather is hot.
Wait, is there an occasion that is NOT a margarita occasion?… There’s Monday, Tuesday… Birthdays, Good Days, Bad Days, Any Days… Hot Days (to cool you down), Cold Days (to lower the body temperature so you don’t feel the cold as much), Temperate days (so you get cold, in which case, it’s a cold day, see Cold Days…)…. Okay, on Independence Day, you must waive a Mexican Flag and play Mariachi music… Chicken with Mole optional… but highly recommended….
We have a lot of Mexican restaurants down here now, but little Mexican food. They grind the meat instead of shredding it. It’s a travesty.
Locally everyone kept a low profile because of fears that La Migra will show up.
Evil Migra…
