"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

Friday Ark #105…
We’ll post links to sites that have Friday (plus or minus a few days) photos of their chosen animals (photoshops at our discretion and humans only in supporting roles). Watch the Exception category for rocks, beer, coffee cups, and….? You can find o…
Ahh.. Now there’s a cat that’s saying I am restful and peaceful but I might not be if you disturb my repose!
Trying to take one of those moccasins is a battle. As a kitten he ate two sets of rawhide laces.
As an adult, Sox remembers his kittenhood when he could fit in one of those moccasins. Sox in shoes… what could be more appropriate!
Somewhere I have a photo of Catherine’s cat Orpheus, now long since departed from this plane, as a tiny kitten, sitting in one of my shoes. Only a kitten understands the true purpose of a shoe, but a grown cat has some memory of the subject.
They have a “thing” for human feet.
Does he like shoes? That kitten of mine, likes to play with my shoes. Cats seem to enjoy putting stuff into shoes. One day, I was getting ready to put mine on, when one of the cats sat there, looking expectantly. I got the shoe on, but there was something in it. It was a fake mouse. The cat was happy to get his mouse back:)
Great photo of Sox. He looks so soft and sleek.
Lazy, is the word you were looking for, OWL, but Ringo has been providing him with exercise lately.
