Stalin Would Be Proud

Attaturk, posting at Eschaton, has a picture of the Goat Ropers of the Crapulence: Cronyism, Hubris, Incompetence, and Corruption. He mistakenly thought they were their more famous cousins, the Horsemen. The fifth Goat Roper, Clueless was buying new boots and couldn’t be bothered showing up for the picture.

You have to wonder if the Cold War was worth the effort when an American government passes a law to establish a new GULag. The Shrubbery keeps trying to convince people he is the new FDR or Churchill, but he has been following the path of Iosif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili almost from the beginning.

Thank you.

I am so angry I could spit. For the record, and for the right-wing nutjobs: I am not hateful; I am angry… nut-cases, do you understand the difference? I thought not.

My late father suffered shrapnel wounds and worse, giving up his youth to prevent this sort of thing from happening, to protect the Constitution from foreign enemies. My late uncle parachuted into Germany for the same purpose. You, Bryan, fought the Cold War (as if it were ever really that cold), again with the same motives. And now George W. Bush signs a bill that gives away the store. To whom? To himself, of course; who else.

You are right. The Shrubbery is FDR in the same way Stalin was FDR. Like bloody hell he is FDR!

Well, Steve, he did try the liar-side chat™ [Steve Bates] to improve his image. I guess Barney is no Fala, although it is quite a coincidence that a faux Texan would have a Scottish terrier, just like FDR.
