"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

Better a claw into the armrest than into some other accessible places…
Is Dot your primary lap cat, or do all the indoor cats take turns? In Stella’s household, if a cat voluntarily jumps into my lap, 99 percent of the time it’s Tabitha. Samantha wants attention, but rarely seeks lap space.
Dot gets there first. Ringo wants to sit on my wrists on the keyboard shelf, but not on my lap. Sox doesn’t do much jumping, but if I sit with my feet on the ottoman he’ll lay on my legs.
Friday Ark #109…
We’ll post links to sites that have Friday (plus or minus a few days) photos of their chosen animals (photoshops at our discretion and humans only in supporting roles). Watch the Exception category for rocks, beer, coffee cups, and….? We add boarder…
what a cutie! =^..^=
For some reason the ccats leave me alone when I am on the computer but they will go three up on the not wife! Great pic Bryan
My lap isn’t big enough to hold either of my two huge cats.
I’m quite proud of that, actually.
Dot is a beautiful animal.
CJ, she’s a good lap cat in that an occasional scratch is all she requires to be content.
Jams, you may move too much. I tend to just and type or just read when I’m on the computer. Everyone leaves when I start reaching for books while programming.
Amdante, Sox overflows no matter which way he lays, but Dot is a comfortable fit across my lap.
CG, she’s the spitting image of her great grandmother, Holstein.
