Yup! That’s a cat all right! Cat’s have no shame whatsoever. At least a dog can fake it. 😉 LOL
I’m sorry OWL to hear about cotton. I read your blog, and he looked like very handsome cat. I’m sure there is lot’s of room in heaven for cats, there’s probably not many humans there. He sounds like a good friend, and I know you will miss him. It’s never easy. I still miss cat’s (and dogs) I had years ago. I once broke up with a girl (in what many thought was a very serious relationship, the ‘M’ word was mentioned occasionally by some) after she backed her car out of the driveway over my dog and broke it’s back. She (my dog, a Sheltie) had to be put down, and she couldn’t understand why I was so angry at her and upset. Was just a dog. To me, that dog was my best friend at the time. I don’t like, or trust, anyone who’s callous or uncaring towards animals, or who has no respect for them. They usually have no respect for people either. Animals always know!
R.I.P. cotton.
Turn the picture on its side, and that beauty would be a dance instructor. Great move.
Thanks for mentioning Cotton. He was a wonderful boy. Thank you, Kryten42. When I read that your former friend ran over your Sheltie, I cringed. How awful that she couldn’t feel the hurt she inflicted to the dog, and to you! They may be four-legged, but most times, they’re better than human friends.
oldwhitelady´s last blog post..Friday Cat Blogging.
Some people can never make the connection to other living things, and that’s a character defect as far as I’m concerned. Everything is intertwined in ways that are not always obvious, and people who are willing or unable to see that usually end up screwing up the world for everyone. Our last President is a prime example.
Cotton was your friend, and he deserved to be acknowledged, OWL.
