I got involved when I was in Alaska, and there are some typical Alaskan characters involved. Actually I like the teams with a back story, like Rachael Scdoris, who is legally blind, and Melissa Owens who had to get back to Nome last year to avoid being absent from high school.
This is a lot of work with a definite edge of danger.
Look at the number of people who watch NASCAR, and those guys just drive around in a circle and have full-service gas stations. [Sorry, Jack.]
